Blogging and Mapping Down My Study Schedule for P Exam

Posted 02-20-2015 at 05:28 PM by Ejung1024

34 more days until P exam. I haven't logged in my hours as much as I should've this time around using my personal ATracker app on my smart phone. Previously, I had logged in all my FM hours which was easy since my focus was better. With Valentine's weekend this month, it has really taken a toll on my study time considering I decided to go on a friendly trip to Wisconsin in an incorporated area between Linden stop and Mauston, Wisconsin (about an hour from Madison and 45 minutes from the Dells according...

How It Feels to Pass FM - Now Onto Probability

The FM exam wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I over prepared for it but much better to over prepare than the opposite and risk failing. I wonder how much of it was due to friends, family, balancing act, very different nutrition and focus, slight connection from the PSL (now AJ) community, having my own place, new relationship, or just experience.

Wave of Faith at 2:30AM

I call it sustainability to be able to focus and study at this hour because the value of my time outweighs tiredness. Also, this is the only time where I get to study more than 1 hour at a time. I'm completing a practice quiz and will need to start completing the quizzes as if I was actually taking the FM exam. This means I sit and study for at least 3 hours straight.

Last weekend, I realized I needed some "me" time and celebrated my birthday as part of a holistic autumn...

A little less than a year after leaving Roosevelt University in December 2011 with a Masters in actuarial science, I began work at a pharmacy benefit management company. Little did I know about the impact of social perception. The outfit that I wore on a day falling on the second week since I started, did not compliment me professionally in combination with my limited business acumen. No matter how good and insightful of a question I asked, I resonated amateur status. I was wearing an Express lavender...

10/8/14 Back to Groove After Camping

Getting back to the groove of things is not easy. Re-balancing and re-focusing shouldn't take more than 10 minutes as time is precious for someone taking the exam in December (3 months left) as a single parent working full time as an Analytic Consultant with high demand work yet office is working on promoting good work-life balance

4PM: Finally got some quizzes in and back in the groove of things. I committed to volleyball tonight so off to the races again and to win this...
