Dynamic Arrays in Excel

This is about a new feature/implementation that's coming to Excel.

Here's a video:
https://community.powerbi.com/t5/MBA...ic/td-p/726918

You can grab the slides here:
https://medius.studios.ms/video/asse...MBAS19-BRK4001

According to this, there's a few errors in the slides:
https://sysmod.wordpress.com/2019/07...-eusprig-2019/

Quote:

Slide 32 (Array Eval) has a typo, the word “didn’t” should not be there. Slide 42 (Calculation Modes) table is blank in edit mode but fills in by animation in presentation mode.
[death to animation]

I'm still thinking about these. Not sure if they'll be a good idea for me to use in my team (yet)

arrays... APL

The dynamic array feature seems moving away from explicit model specification by the user and toward presumptive specification by the software... is the oprisk thread?

yeah, I really don't like this development.

I can see so many ways of this going wrong
