of course im not an expert (as i am still very young into my career), but there are obviously exceptions to that. Of course exam p will be much much easier than the rest of your exams, but in the case that this test takers didn't take their first 2 tries seriously or had other matters might make them exempt from this norm. In fact my school had an actuarial guest speaker in our class who passed 5 prelim exams in college, however he failed each exam about 3 times (i found him on AO and he failed exam p twice and exam 3 trice and a lot of other exams). The reason he is an exception though is that he took it as a freshman and didnt take multi variable calc. He however doesn't wanna be an FSA (lol) and said ASA is good enough... not sure if thats cause he can't pass the exams or cause the government doesn't need FSA's.

I used Actex and the SOA samples only for P and passed back in the day. I believe this to still be sufficient, though Adapt is now commonplace.

Oh yeah... I bough ASM, did the SOA 240 (or half of them atleast), and took the 4 free sample TIA exams. I passed with an 8 in september

I failed FM twice and went 3/3 on P, MFE, and C (and possibly 1/1 on MLC too, we'll see on Jan20)... so idk man.

I am also taking P in January. Anyone else using Adapt? If so, what progress are people making? I was worried I started poorly (3 range) but am now slowly moving up. Lots of studying before Jan 6 though...
