Question Regarding Insurance Ages

When trying to calculate a person's insurance age and the question says round age to the nearest birthday, for a person with a birthday that is exactly 6 months apart from their purchase date, do you round up or down for their age?

For example, someone with a DOB of 9/1/1945 and a purchase date of 3/1/2019, would you round their insurance age to 3/1/1945 or 3/1/1946?

Do you have an example of such a problem?

Also, the problem could only arise in years with an even number of days.

Seriously, focus on non-trivial issues.

I agree with fossilized penis. This will never happen on this exam. If it does, I will pay you $1,000.
