Peer review was discussed in the section on Validation in the proposed revision of ASOP 38. It does not appear that the proposed changes have gone anywhere since the third draft was exposed in 2016....

FWIW, binomial makes a lot of sense for life...

FWIW, binomial makes a lot of sense for life insurance or accidental death coverage. But I agree it's not appropriate for typical prop/cas.
