That historical pass rate is deflated by lower pass rates in recent sittings.

Pre-2014, the pass rates were in the high 40s and 50s. It looks like that is what the SOA is targeting to clawback...

Yes, MLC (And all the prelims) was a joke back then, but just because it was easy in the past doesn't mean it should be easy now.

Flooding the field with candidates hasn't been good for the job...

Many people I know expressed similar sentiments about last sitting's difficulty.

As all the exams are curved, something has to give. Either the passmark increases or the written answers are graded...
