Very true. What we do know is the re-take was only a 2-hour sitting, rather than the full 4-hour exam. I also have heard that it was much easier, but obviously have no real frame of reference.

Got my exam booklet today. Sitting at a 55.5. I feel fairly confident in that considering it's higher than any previous pass mark. I just hope they don't throw out or change any questions I got right.

No additional amount of studying would've driven me to cover topics...

CPCU 540 1st Edition vs 2nd Edition?

Am I at a disadvantage if I use the 1st edition textbook instead of the 2nd edition? I have the 2nd edition manual, so at least that portion would be completely up to date.

SOA is best and most similar. Mahler is good for understanding the theory, but SOA is best for wording and what you should expect to see on the actual exam.

Ahh that makes more sense. I thought MLC was still CBT. I'm going down the CAS route, so haven't ever looked into it.
