There will be legal challenges in the UK this year to this by individuals. Remember they also have MRA with non-EU too, which are also unfair as they don't have CA3 equivalents in those places either.

Actuarial exams do take up a lot of your spare time in your 20s and this can have a negative impact on the rest of our life. Also it can adversely affect your personality.

Do actuarial societies operate a quota exam system i.e. only let a particular percentage pass their exams? I am not aware of any society which admits to this practice but many actuaries believe this...

Here in the UK the only tuition you can get is to attend tutorials run by Acted. They are typically 3 days per subject. In this they go through key parts of the subject to prepare you for the exam....

Have you considered going abroad? My understanding is that a 2-year course in Switzerland makes you FULLY qualified there, which you can then trade for FIA in the UK once you've completed 1 year's...
