I'm sure whatever CAS exam Independence is granted early on, and to appease voters, would ultimately go away as it's always been SOA's goal to dumb things down, do away with testing.

In Chicago(land), housing prices are way lower than out west or the Northeast. Still, add in ridiculous property taxes and other stuff and it's still way pricier than NC, Texas, KC, Atlanta, etc.
