I've done this. Occasionally it's not much more expensive than regular. Usually it's quite significantly more. Select has almost as good of cars and is right in between typically.

I suppose, so what do you recommend as for fighting apathy? I have serious trouble doing things "just because" since I've been trained since childhood to do things for praise and reward.

Same here. 7 minute wait for Uber... which grew longer and longer... I canceled and just took the cab. It's probably the same price for long trips, maybe more expensive for short.

It's just rare that anything really resonates with me that way. It's a philosohpy I sort of developed on my own unaware of Neitzsche's work. Nice to have that validation.
