Those of us who are taking an exam in May-06 have a tough call with respect to the FAP modules.

Do we try to get mods 1-5 done between mid-May and mid-August, or wait until the second offering of FAP1 in "first quarter 2007"?


For those who choose the latter, there is another hurdle. I've been informed that we cannot do the modules out of order. So, for example, we cannot focus first on modules 6-8, in preparation for FAP2 in Jan-07.


I'm thinking my ideal schedule may be to aim for modules 1-3 over the summer. Then focus on 6-8 in preparation for the FAP2 in Jan. Then focus on doing 4,5 and reviewing 1-3 in preparatioin for FAP 1 in March.

Am I understanding correctly that this is not possible?

What would be the "Standard" path for someone who is finishing an exam in May-06 and plans to move into modules at that point. Finishing 1-5 by mid-Aug. seems doable, but very aggressive. I want to know what other options there are? FInishing 1-5 by say, late September, then not being tested on it for 6 mos. seems very risky.
