Suttree rocks ass; I've read most of McCarthy and that's almost as good as Blood Meridian. Once you read a Cormac McCarthy work, you quickly realize how little vocabulary you actually know. Don't waste your time with that Dan Brown Da Vinci Code schlock. Garcia Marquez is the Macdaddy.

In case anyone cares, I just finished Barnaby Rudge, Dickens' red-headed stepchild, and am double-fisting Moby Dick and Carlyle's Sartor Resartus like a m0f0.
