Default Am I the only one that is frustrated and discouraged about this exam

I mean, there are so much material and so little time. I think I have at least about 15% of the readings that I have no clue about and I just can't follow and understand them.....

I have the same feeling for some of the material. For the most part, I chose to take this exam because I am looking forward to learn about it. It worked for me by reading the materials that seem interesting first. Don't give up =)

Hello, Gary619, I am on your side, also frustrated to face CSP,
But everyone has different situation, just try to look on the bright side,
not to give yourself too much pressure

As me,
I was luckily to finished my FAP1, FAP2, DP, FSA modules in the past one year,
and because I passed so many exams in an Asian local Ins company, lots job and office political stress come after the transcript released and salary increased,

I don't know how much time now to left for CSP,
I can really feel your pain...
I think MISSY gave us a good suggestion, just take one manual, and start at the interesting part, that's what I think now

Definitely not. Look at myself. My only attempt for written exam was in 2 years ago and I fail. This make me feel more cautious this time to face written exam. I guess I am as afraid as you (I may be worse)

We still have time, Right? Let's beat this exam together!

I wouldn't say I'm frustrated or discouraged...I'm just scared

Do the easy parts first, or at least the parts that got you to do this. I, for example, am avoiding the Hardy book for as long as I can. The M&A stuff is fun for example.

as for study guide, Reynolds is a good read. Also ordered Actex as a secondary check (yay for work paying for this)

The New Corp Finance book reads easily. I did Hardy's book when I did FE module, and it's good to test it in that format - you ahve a case study, you get Excel, you have the book right in front of you. I don't know if it's productive to test the formulas in the exam format, I have no brain capacity to memorize any of it.
