I have been using only ASM for MFE studying. The practice problems are somewhat easy, and I want a source for more complicated and difficult problems.

1.) Does Derivative Markets have lots of challenging problems?

2.) Is it woth buying in preparation for this exam?

3.) Is there some other source where I can just get some real challenging problems, like does anyone just sell a bunch of insanely hard practice exams?

The infinite actuary sells bundles of practice exams.

And you're probably better off buying a study manual.

I have the ASM study manual. I want to know if Derivative Markets by Mcdonald contains lots of difficult and challenging problems and overall if its a good buy.

Plenty of difficult and challenging problems for sure. Solutions? Naw. You'll have to get the separate manual. As for whether or not it is worth your greenbacks is quite subjective.

Do the ASM practice exams at the back of the book. if they're anything like the ones for C, they'll be pretty tough.

I have nothing to add about the difficulty of questions in Derivative Markets.

The general opinion on Derivative Markets is that it, like most textbooks, does little to prepare you for the exam. If you want a text with good problems you can try Hull.

in my experience we need to understand the concepts, SOA will mix some concepts in one question. Textbook helps us to understand the concepts. Chapter 21 help me to understand the reason behind of B-S formula, B-S equation and chapter 24. Gookluck!
