New SOA Strategic Plan

Or because people are on vacation. Or because people like to wait til the last day to submit something. Or because there's not much to object to in the broad statements, and SOA members will have a stronger opinion on the tactics.
Or because we get so many emails from the SOA that most of them are ignored and lots of people don't even know it's there (this last one wouldn't surprise me in the least. The new CPE requirements from the Academy were a revelation to quite a few people....who are Academy members. Forget about the non-Academy members who unexpectedly found themselves covered by these requirements.)

Oh, I think the attitude was clear.
At any rate, you have to wait til after Labor Day for anything serious from Americans. It's nothing but silliness from us for all of August. Which calls into question the timing of SOA elections. Hmmmmmmm.
