Default computer test site rules?

My appointment is at 12:30, but I really want to get it over with right now. Will they let me take it early if I show up at 10:15-10:30?

When I took FM in the Spring, I got there about 7:45 AM for my 8:30 AM appointment. They processed me right away, and I started about 8:00 AM. So it's possible they might let you start a little early if they have space available.

yea, i showed up about 45 minutes early and started probably 35 minutes early. you cannot take it 2 hours early. you can always call your local center and see what they say.

I showed up for my 12:30 appointment at 11:00 (I had to go to a different town, find a parking spot that would let me stay longer than 2 hrs*, find the actual office w/i the building, etc., etc.). I was told to wait and check back in at around 12:00. When I showed up at 11:50, they began checking me in and I was starting on my Quiz at about 12:15.

So I would agree with Christian and JIL that you could start a bit early.

*I ended up parking about 3/4 to 1 mile away. It took me about 45 minutes to find it. I say this more for posterity than for those who're sitting this time around; if you're going to an unfamiliar location (especially in a downtown or big uniiversity setting); plan accordingly. Much better to be way early than way late.

My place was less than a mile from my apartment and easy to find. But I showed up a half hour early and they only had 1 person checking in and I started about 5 minutes early. So showing up early is a good idea regardless.

I showed up to my exam about an hour and a half early and they were able to let me take the exam right away. Maybe it just depends if they have computers available at the site.

Yea, I didn't have to wait because of my appointment time, only because it was one person checking in and there were 3 people there before me to take GRE's or something.

You need to make sure that P\Y = C\Y = 1. Depending on when you got your calculator, sometimes this will reset to 12 or something.
