Default 11-time Champion St. Louis Cardinals Thread

I'm done doing season by season threads... I only ever get 40 posts in them anyway. Here's your thread for all things St. Louis Cardinals related.

Opening Day 2010!

Lineup:

1. Skip Schumaker 2B
2. Brendan Ryan SS
3. Albert Pujols 1B
4. Matt Holliday LF
5. Colby Rasmus CF
6. Ryan Ludwick RF
7. Yadier Molina C
8. David Freese 3B
9. Chris Carpenter SP

So, after much fingernail biting and gnashing of teeth, all of the projected starters are going to start the first game, pending a physical on Yadi this morning. Whew. Just wish I could've taken today off and got drunk of 9 beers in the first 9 innings of this season. MLB iphone app will have to do.

Can't wait - should be an exciting season - most experts say the Cardinals should "run away and hide" in the NL Central this year...Franklin is a little scary right now...

Already started the Franklin bashing...but if Albert has this kind of season the Cards may not need a closer!!!

3-0 Cards! Men on 2nd and 3rd after a bunt by Carpenter.

Bah. Two homers in the inning for the Reds. Rolen gets back at his old team. 3-2 Cards.
