Default Course 7 - Getting In

Is there anything special I need to do to get accepted to take Course 7?

I have 5 exams and recently sat for Course 5 (good chance but its the SOA so you never know). I have about 4 years of modeling experience & 5 yrs for financial experience (5 total).

I was hoping to get registered for C7 asap but wasn't sure if I need the 6th exam passed or if I need to write a special exception letter to get in.

Please advise. Thanks!

I think you are allowed to take the exam with 5 exams passed, and can register for the seminar with 5 exams and waiting on a sixth. You get put on an ineligible list and get put on the eligible upon good news regarding the sixth exam.

dino, you need to a) pass the pre-test, and b) meanwhile, submit the Prerequisite Waiver to Judy Carney at the SOA. I formatted it like a resume: dates, company/department/title, projects, my duties within each project. My title was "actuarial assistant" for most years, but it was sufficient.
