I would give Jon Fox a try. His seminar/notes/notecards were very useful.

I've heard very good things about Fox as well. But, does he have any kind of study manual with past exam problems and solutions? There are really two things I look for in a study manual and seminar:

1 - guidance on the most important things to study
2 - past exam problems

How does Fox do on these points?

Use TIA, Angelo is the best instructor. I went to Fox's seminar, and I really did not like it. It will not prepare you for exam problems like TIA will. Fox does not go over 1 past exam problem, nor do his notes include any past exam problems. This was a major turn off to me.

But what about David Atkinson's portion? Is it acceptable?

Honestly, it was not that good compared to Angelo's. David goes through the theory behind the concepts quite good, but was unresponsive to questions. His videos were awfully boring, so I did not watch many of them. Also, he only provided answers to a few years of past exams, and this did not include the most recent exam which had some controversial questions that I hoped to get some clarification on. With that being said, I still think his material is better than Fox's.

That basically describes my study guide, which contains solutions to all relevant past exam problems from 2000-2009. In addition, I will update the practice exams (5 exams with 35 exercises each) with the 2009 exam experience in order to anticipate 2010 CAS problems.

I am planning to offer a 5-day seminar course as well. Please, send me an email or pm if you have any questions.

The sample study manual you have posted on Miccolis is beautifully formatted. Is it in LaTeX?

Really? Is TIA good for exam 9? I've used TIA (online only) for 5, 6, and 7 and been pretty pleased with it - except that FIkes is soooooo slooooooooow to update material. But, I've heard not as good things about exam 9, particularly about the part not taught by "the Aussie teacher" (Angelo Bastinapillai).

Does all of the TIA study manual that comes with the online material contain past exam problems organized by paper? Do the outlines cover the important material in a clear way? Are the videos useful?

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone that used TIA online for exam 9.
