Political surveys in here now?
The missing answer is neither. The advantage of a stronger VP (who cares?) outweighed by the look of disloyalty, indecision, etc. It would have to be pulled off perfectly with Biden publically saying he doesn't want to be on the ticket, but even then it would stink.
