I am planning to spend only 100 hours. Of course I did not take it yet so my answer may not count because technically I did not pass. You specifically asked how many hours it took people who already passed. Trust me. I know myself. I also looked at the material. I will pass.

So please do count my vote.

For those who have previous exposure to the materials in this syllabus (for example, classes in college, or previously taken the exam and failed), you should disclose it. I get rather annoyed when people say stuff like, "Oh it took me only two weeks to study for this," or "I only need to spend so many hours because this stuff was easy."

Total BS.

100 hours, with no previous knowledge of the materials, first time taking the exam? Sorry, I don't buy it. If you're so good, you'd be a fellow by now.

People are selling all sorts of things around you. You buy whatever you choose to buy.

"If you're so good, you'd be a fellow by now."

makes no sense as a statement. I hope you can see it.

But in any case, maybe I will be soon.

The original question is asking what a typical amount of time would be to study for such an exam. 100 is unreasonable for the average person. Telling someone that is only going to get them in trouble. We don't need geniuses coming here telling other people how little time they need to prepare for these exams.

Let's remember that he never claimed that he passed this exam. However, he guaranteed that he would and begged us to count his vote of 100 hours.

The bolded part is laughable: I guess if you don't take an exam, you don't technically pass it. There's nothing technicle about that.

there sure is. If I say I will pass an exam it's like I did.

The only one laughable around here is you who tries so desperately to prove to yourself that it cannot be possibly true that one can pass with under 100 hours of study.
