YouTube Are you an actuary with a TV personality? Have you always wanted to be on TV?

THIS POSITION IS CLOSED

A Non-fiction/documentary television production company has asked DW Simpson to find an Actuary to take part in a new TV project.

This project is still in development, so full details are not available. The ideal actuary has a BIG personality that comes across on camera. They should be funny, but very also smart. Additionally, they are looking for someone who doesn’t appear to fit the ‘typical’ actuary mold— maybe they're covered in tattoos or maybe they're a body builder in their free time? Maybe you ride a motorcycle or love hunting? They are looking for actuaries between the ages of 25 and 55, although they will gladly consider anyone who’s interested.

This production company works with Discovery, TLC, History, Nat Geo, A&E, Travel, Food Network, DIY, TruTV, and HGTV. They are currently in production on 9 shows for 8 different networks.

If you'd like to be in the spot light, please register at http://www.dwsimpson.com/cform.html and mention "ACTUARY TALK SHOW HOST."
Please include a short description of yourself (name, age, location, job, hobbies, etc) and a picture or link to a video.

-Tom

Well, they could get the old WCC together and do "Real Housewives of the CAS" . . .

They'd have to film it on a Friday, though.

I'm going to say that this sort of show is likely to not care the specific qualifications. Just the general career area.

Think about all the "actuaries" quoted in the media, that we look up and determine are not credentialed. If journalists don't care, I highly doubt these guys will.
