Default Man Protests All-You-Can-Eat Restaurant After Getting Kicked Out for Eating Too Much

http://gawker.com/5910720/man-protes...ating-too-much

A Wisconsin man charged a local restaurant with false advertising after he was told to stop eating during an all-you-can-eat fish fry.

Bill Wisth, of Mequon, says he was getting ready to move on to his thirteenth piece of fish when Chuck's Place in Thiensville cut him off, claiming they were running out of food for the other patrons.

"Well, we asked for more fish and they refused to give us any more fish," he told local NBC affiliate TMJ 4.

Indignant, Wisth said he would not pay his bill until satiety had been achieved. The restaurant, which says Wisth's eating habits have caused problems before, offered to give the 350lb man eight additional pieces if he agreed to pay for his food.

I'm surprised all-you-can-eat establishments can survive in Wisconsin

Only in America! I always wonder what foreigners think of us after seeing these stories?

I pretty much avoid all-you-can-eat places. We have a decent chain (Cinzetti's) near us and my son and I used to eat there when he came to visit, but last time it was $40 for 2 with tip for lunch. He drank tap water, I drank club soda. The number of fat people in wheel chairs and scooters was scary.

Buffet places tend to either have too much cheap, starchy and fired stuff or, in Cinzetti's case, decent food but very high prices.

You wanna see a spectacle, try a Golden Corral on a Sunday at lunchtime. I've never seen so many well-dressed fat people in my life. Food was horrible though.

There's a pretty good chinese/sushi buffet in a neighboring city for about $15/person. Not as many fat people in there, either. Just me.

Either way, this restaurant doesn't sound like a buffet but rather a place that will keep bringing free plates food if you request it, sort of like a Country Pride restaurant in a TA.

The opinion probably doesn't change
