NOW SHOWING...it's Manic Monday Multiple Choice Majority Rules Sheep Contest.
  • Questions have been posted & Inivitations sent on Monday, 07/09/2012.
  • Submissions will be accepted until 11:59 AM CDT (or when 1695814 enters his office (whichever is later)) Wednesday, 07/11/2012.
  • MMMcMrSC Reveal Show should begin at some point between 12:01 pm and 1:59 pm CDT Wednesday, 07/11/2012. I will attempt to narrow this timeframe as it approaches.
  • Scoring: Only those in the majority will score points. Further, the number of points earned will be equal to the number not in the majority. If n is the number of answers submitted, then the majority is greater than or equal to Int(n/2)+1.

    • 6 choose option A
    • 5 choose option B
    • The 6 players who chose option A get 5 points.

  • Example B:
    • 11 players
    • 6 choose option A
    • 4 choose option B
    • 1 chose option C
    • The 6 players who chose option A get 5 points.
    • The 4 players who chose option B get 0 points.
    • The 1 player who chose option C gets 0 points.
  • Example III:
    • 11 players
    • 5 choose option A
    • 4 choose option B
    • 2 chose option C
    • Nobody gets any points because there was not a majority
  • Example iv:

Here are the questions. Generally, I'm looking for one-word answers. I'll even give you suggestions for many of them.

1 I have read and understand the terms and conditions as listed in post #1 and agree to be bound by the provisions of the same. Yes, No, or Other.

2 You are stranded on a deserted desert island. But, there happen to be two solar-powered cold-drink vending machines. One serves Coca-cola. One serves Pepsi-cola. Which one would you choose? Or would you rather go Thirsty?

3 You are stranded in Podunk and you are hungry. Only two "restaurants" are still open at this hour: McDonald's and Burger King. Which one would you choose? Or would you rather go Hungry?

4 Are you a Dog-person, a Cat-person, or Neither?

5 PC or Mac?

6 You are stranded on a deserted desert island. But, there happens to be a solar-powered snack vending machine that only sells varieties of M&Ms chocolate candy. You have just enough money to buy one bag. Which bag of M&Ms would you like to eat - Plain, Peanut, Peanut Butter, Pretzel, Almond, Other, or None of the Above?

7 Which children's game did you play as a kid: Duck, duck, [Gray Duck, Goose, Get the hell off my lawn you damn kids!, None of the Above]

8 Have you ever written a letter to the President of the United States? Yes or No.

9 Was a Democrat, Republican, Whig, Democrat-Republican, Federalist, or Independent occupying the office of the President of the United States when you were born?

10 Driving on an interstate (in the USA) w/ little-to-no traffic to impede your progress & little-chance of a police officer being present. Speed limit = 55. To the nearest 5 mph, how fast do you drive?

11 Driving on an interstate (in the USA) w/ little-to-no traffic to impede your progress & little-chance of a police officer being present. Speed limit = 60. To the nearest 5 mph, how fast do you drive?

12 Driving on an interstate (in the USA) w/ little-to-no traffic to impede your progress & little-chance of a police officer being present. Speed limit = 65. To the nearest 5 mph, how fast do you drive?

13 Driving on an interstate (in the USA) w/ little-to-no traffic to impede your progress & little-chance of a police officer being present. Speed limit = 70. To the nearest 5 mph, how fast do you drive?

14 Yes or No, have you ever had a broken bone that required a cast?

15 You are walking along an empty sidewalk. You are not in a hurry. What is the lowest denomination of United States currency that you would stop to pick up?

16 Pick your favorite major American sports league: NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, or Other/None.

17 You are stranded on a deserted desert island. But, there happens to be a solar powered juke box with a bunch of credit left in it. It only has four artists, but their entire repertoire is available. Which artist do you primarily pick? Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, or Celine Dion.

18 What is your favorite type of Peanut? Unsalted in the shell, Salted in the shell, Unsalted, Lightly Salted, Salted, Honey Roasted, Toffee, Charlie Brown.

19 How many keys do you have on your key chain?

20 What is your preferred day for a sheep-game-reveal?

21 There are no points available for this question, but would you like a PM sent to you just minutes before the reveal on Wednesday?

I would prefer your answers be submitted in the following style:
