Default What's up with the Reef these days?

Lately, what I see for the most part is a bunch of men talking about women, naked women, women's breasts, large women, small women and all kinds of obnoxious comments about women in between.

There was a time when these kinds of threads would have been stopped after the first one was started. I don't believe that we need to be told what to post and what not to post (racist comments being censored I do not have a problem with), I just wonder why we have the reef and this kind of crap becomes open season?

Should the reef be renamed the Men's Locker Room?

This statement seems contradictory. Do you believe we should be allowed to post about what we want? Or do you believe there should be censorship and that we should not be able to post what we want so that not all topics are 'open season'? Or are you saying that we should be able to say what we want unless it is racist, and men talking about women is racist?

I think she's trying to understand why men are talking about breasts all the time in the reef. The basic answer is: we're men. That's what we do. It's been hidden from you for the most part, but now that the rules in the Reef have been relaxed we can just be men the way nature intended. Talkng about breasts and being obnoxious is part of the program. And unlike all the religious threads people complained about a while ago, this will not pass. It's here to stay. Unless Traci changes the rules again. In which case I will be the first one to jump back into order. Because not only am I an obnoxious man who likes to talk about breasts and women and women's breasts, I'm pretty much a conformist and will jump when Traci says jump. Then I'll wash her car and fold her laundry and vacuum her carpets and clean her dishes....

Isn't Titania supposed to be a woman?

My comment is not that it's being talked about, but the proliferation of threads on the subject. It doesn't bother me if the topic is mentioned from time to time. Surely you have other things to talk about in the reef?

Hey Sammie,

Wait a couple of days. This stuff comes and goes. It'll die down, then we'll see it again in 6 months or a year.

My thinking was that they'd get through all the possible parodies and then it would be out of their system. I mean, really, they've gone through fat, skinny, old, young, flat chested, well endowed, I was figuring it was almost over. Perhaps I was wrong.

Yes, Karma, I'm a chick.

But, you may have noticed I haven't been hanging in there much since this all started...It's kinda starting to smell like dirty socks a little.

I know you're right, there's always some topic that gets overkilled and then finally the boredom sets in and it gets abandoned for a while. It must be time for some heated debates on religion or threads on snorkeling to surface again.

Talking about women's figures is bad, but talking about snorkeling is okay? Odd.
(note this is not a defense of the current threads. And while we're at it, we should ban Michael Davlin for the havoc he's been inspiring)

And are you making fun of my religion?
