I just got this email. I'm really speechless.

When I say that I don't like the bend I see the country taking, this is the type of thing that I'm thinking of. These types of email weren't circulated among professional contacts 5 years ago (I'm sure they were circulated among KKK members.)

How ironic is this??!! They don't even believe in Christ and they're getting their own Christmas stamp, but don't dream of posting the ten commandments on federal property?

I think both you and whoever wrote this are overreacting.

Re the stamp--This has been produced in past years as well. I believe that there has also been a stamp recognizing Ramadan. No big deal. Nothing for this guy to get his pant in a wad about.

There are stamps for Christmas--every year there is a new "Madonna and Child" stamp, although they don't use that term, they do say "Christmas" on them. There are also 2-3 new secular Christmastime stamps each year. This year there's a series of Santa ornaments.

Hannukah gets a stamp each year--this year there's a dreidl stamp.

Kwanzaa has a stamp.

There are plenty of stamps to buy. If this guy wants, he can use only the flag being raise at Ground Zero.

He shouldn't consider this the end of the country, and neither should you.

I'm concerned that in the minds of more and more people, the War on Terror is becoming a War on Islam.

I've never recieved an email asking me to boycott a Kwanzaa or Hannakah stamp.

Is not the war on terror being fought against radical islamists? As far as I know we have not been attacked by radical Kwanzites or Israelis.
