I hear the Taliban now say that Osama is free to wage jihad on the US. That really scares me since up until now they have kept him on such a tight leash ("now now Osama, no jihad - we're civilized you know").

I think the funniest news I saw yesterday was:

"Al-Qaeda says America can expect more hijacked plane attacks."

..followed by

"Taliban states it sees no evidence of Al-Qaeda being a terrorist organization."

From CNN.com:

"Taliban officials said Wednesday they have lifted all restrictions imposed on bin Laden, who had been barred from using telephones, fax machines and the Internet before the start of U.S. airstrikes."

Kind of makes me laugh. I think we prefer that he does use these so we can find him.
