manuals, seminars, texts

thank you jaegar so much for your detailed post. so from what i gather, there are a lot of different manuals, seminars, and texts. and many people have somewhat different opinions. i also noticed that some manuals are connected to seminars. i'm getting a little confused, and maybe someone could help me out. can someone maybe list these three things and maybe what things are missing from each. sorry if this has alredy been done somewhere else.
