CNN has been given the opportunity to submit six written questions to OBL.

Now is your chance to come up with your own questions!

Which would you prefer, sir:
1) Death after a year of torture; or
2) a fourth wife?

And my follow-up...

Would that involve
1) Flogging and beating; or
2) live wires in sensitive places?

1) Did you send the anthrax to American Media because one of their magazines said you're a little lacking "Down There"?

2) Are you?

3) {pointing} Ha ha!

Here are my six:

1) What's it like knowing that you'll spend the rest of your very short life in a cave?
2) How do you feel knowing that you've made America more united than ever and that we won't stop until well after you're quite dead?
3) How does it feel knowing that you left several thousands of children without one or both parents?
4) You blew your entire whole wad on 9/11. Was it worth it?
5) How do you feel knowing that any moment you could get blown into a million tiny pieces or pierced by several large bullets?
6) How does it feel knowing that your sending thousands of your worshippers to certain death while you're holed up in your cave like a sniveling coward?

Mr bin Laden, you're an A-hole and we're going to hunt you down like the dog you are.

I don't know if this "six questions" thing ever came to pass, but I think the administration needs to lay down the law with the media, because they just don't get it. Getting the story is one thing, but you have to draw the line at providing a propaganda forum for our enemies. No one was trying to interview Tojo in January of 1942. This man has nothing to say except the same hateful garbage that we've heard for years. Most of his political statements have been fabricated post-9/11 as an attempt to legitimize his crimes.

Every single news story on our military strikes is dominated by the focus on alleged civilian casualties. No attempt is made to confirm the Taliban casualty figures, they are just repeated verbatim. That's quality journalism.

I don't think that the media are rooting against the US, but I think that their standard don't-trust-the-government, assume-the-worst approach is terribly inappropriate here. They have no business operating independently in a US war zone -- they are knowingly or unknowingly providing information to the enemy. Enough.
