Did everyone get the same test? I was under the impression that there was a (large) pool of questions, and each individual test could be different. Could be wrong though. In any case, I'll hold off talking about the test until the official "ok."

Wow, rough. I am ecstatic that I didn't get any of those. I'm not very comfortable with the "odd" distributions (gamma, lognormal, weibull, etc.).

Mine had the distributions I was expecting: Normal, Exponential, Poisson, Binomial, and Geometric.

Of course, maybe I did have those problems, and just didn't recognize I had to use the Gamma.

I didn't get anything like that. All poisson, normal, uniform, and geometric

I sat the pencil and paper test, an had nothing out of the ordinary apart from one gamma (I think).

I know I missed a central limit theorum question, which I relized as soon as I walkeed out of the exam room.

Yeah, I had a bunch of Uniform problems as well.

I came up with an answer on all of the problems except 2. One was a moment-generating function with two parameters, and it asked to find the correllation coefficient. I wasn't exactly sure how to do start, and I didn't have time to try stuff at the end.

The other, which I spent a lot of time on, gave a simple density, then said that a sample of size 3 was taken from this density. Find the density of the median of the sample. I expect I missed something simple on this one, as it seems like this shouldn't be that complicated.

Overall, I think I lucked out on the difficulty of my exam. Although, I believe the pass score is a function of the difficulty, so I don't know if that's good or not.
