Default FREE study note on shock models

Most candidates preparing for Exam MLC master the material on joint statuses for independent lifetimes, but some skip the seemingly complicated material on (common) shock models since it is tested much less often. Although I'm certainly not the first to note this, I've prepared a FREE 11-page study note showing that if you know how to compute with joint statuses for independent lifetimes then you already know how to deal with shock models.

The note can be downloaded---as can some others---as a free pdf file from the Austin Study Notes page of my website
http://www.actuarialseminars.com ; feel free to fetch it if you think it might be of help.
