I took courses from Gerber, Jones, and Nesbitt. Nesbitt used his own text (Butcher and Nesbitt) for Compound Interest, but I passed anyway.

I also took Life Contingencies and Pension Theory from him. He was a great teacher, and you worked to keep up with him.

I just graduated from UM. Those 3 profs they discussed above are great. you should work fine with them. just start writing your resume like in Sep coz companies come to campus in Oct.

Wonderful! I can't wait to take their classes then. How high is the chances of getting an internship? Is there anything I should do now to increase my chances of getting one? I'm a freshman in UM by the way.

I got my Ph D from the department of Industrial and Operations Engineering.

Curiously, posting this means that I'm eligible for the AOSCDME, I believe.
