Chapter 11.3 Stockholder Earnings

With PreTaxStockEarn including InvIncRC why isn’t the ReqCapInc subtracted out (or is it actually bein subtracted out)? This seems inconsistent because you include the investment income from this additional Required Capital (liability) but do not include the change in the Required Capital (liability) itself.
