Default CFA vs FRM

I have already completed all the actuarial exams and will be getting FSA this August. I took Individual Life and Annuities track for the fellowship exams however I have been always interested in Finance/Investment. I do not want to torture myself to take another track therefore I plan to take either CFA and/or FRM exams.

Do you guys have any suggestions relating these two? Which one is more useful for actuaries? Is it doable to write CFA level one and FRM together? Because starting from next year, FRM will be split into two exams. I do not want to miss December sitting for CFA either in order to take Level 2 in June next year.
