No, he's doing a terrible job. He's focused on the wrong things and has shown horrendous leadership ability. If he had any leadership whatsoever, he would have been able to get whatever he wanted out of congress.

It's possible Obama will end up worse than Carter, but that is a damn deep hole to dig.

Obama has not done very well but the mid 70's were a much worse time (I was very young but still realized ths). This can change. It is not like Nixon/Ford handed over a rose to Carter and he made it a weed but then again Obama was not handed a rose either.

It's been a year dude. What has Obama done that's so bad anyway? Stock market is up 70%. Unemployment hasn't improved, but he's got 75% of his first term left.

I think the dollar will crash irreparably by 2012.... bottom drops out of the dollar. ....Dollars are worthless, 401ks are bust, the markets are valueless...government assumes control over all industry and everything is nationalized by the end of 2012. - gomer_tree
