Hello everyone,
So far, I have been able to process relatively small databases (161,585 rows and about 70 columns) with Visual Basic code in Excel, however, in the very neer future (a couple of months from now) I will need to start using a tool like Ms Access. Even though I´m pretty comfortable with VB coding, I´d like to have access to any kind of article, e-book, whatever that could take me through use of Visual Basic combined with SQL commands or database commands to more effectively process the information. Could anybody tell me where I can find good information that could take me step by step with the use of Visual Basic combined with SQL in Access? Any help will be greatly appreciated. |

paulbernal,
Here are some links I found when I was looking into how Access and VBA work with SQL syntax. http://www.databasejournal.com/featu...n-VBA-Code.htm http://www.fontstuff.com/access/acctut15.htm There's also this stuff called ADODB and the older DAO that gives you a ton of flexibility in Access VBA. I've been using the book "Mastering Microsoft Office Access 2003" by Alison Balter to learn how to use these, but there is a bunch online if you just Google "Access DAO" |
