Meh. "Good for poker" could mean a number of things, but mostly it means money going to certain interested parties.

All a poker site wants is churn. Whatever generates churn is deemed "good for poker."
All a poker pro wants is fish. Whatever generates fish is deemed "good for poker."
All a TV network wants is eyes looking at ads. Whatever generates ad sales is deemed "good for poker." Hence more-entertaining coverage on ESPN than actual poker coverage.

In this case, Pokerstars and Cates thought that this article would be "good for poker." I'm not sure it will draw more people (mostly fish) to the site, nor to him in particular.

Anywho, there are lots of crazy mofo's on The Earth. Some play poker. So what?
