For those who passed full 5 when are you taking COP? Seems that thsoe who passed full 5 don't have credit for new 6 (unless they failed both 5 and 6 last year).
And they would be pressed to take COP in the winter in the hopes of getting ACAS after passing 6. Therefore, with only 2 COP's available (120 ppl), won't there be an overload? There look to be a few hundred 5 passers. This is partially due to the fact that the modules haven't been offered for us and we weren't able to qualify for COP earlier. Anyone wanna email CAS to get a new location for this winter to accomodate us. Maybe Vegas?? |

Not doing COP for prolly another year. I've still got the two courses to do and VEE-finance, and I'm going to put those off for a while since 6 is going be a beast and want to concentrate my effort on that. Don't really want to do COP until I'm done with that other stuff. Not in a hurry to get the new ACAS-lite anyway (want that FCAS).
It's funny that it's just one more exam to ACAS. I really don't feel like I'm qualified to be an actuary yet (only been working for a year though). |
