Hi AO.

Is there anyone on here who works in Australia know of any Australian employer willing to sponsor a 457 visa to an Actuarial Analyst.

Hey guys. I'm an American who has been living in Sydney for the past 2.5 years. If you are from the CAS side give me a shout (PM). Let me know what your skills are and I'll give a look.

Also remember that LAFHA has recently been cancelled by the Australian Gov't. Further Australia is much more expensive than even New York. And depending on your salary, as a US citizen you will be subject to taxes in Australia and America (for portions above the tax free threshold once you gross the limit up for a portion of your housing expenses).

I am from Pakistan, have been into risk management. Looking forward to clearing my preliminaries this year.

Just wanted some guidance on how to get a job in Australia.

Hello everyone. Just curious on the general requirements for an actuarial analyst in Australia. Can you please share some? I'm looking at the idea of moving to Sydney in a few years. I've been working in the actuarial field for more than a year.
