![]() I usually do dips every 3 days. When I do them I do 3 sets of usually 20,18-20, 15 or somewhere in that range.
Lately, when I get to around 10 I start to get a pain near my elbow only in my right arm. Trying to be specific: If I extend my right arm in front of me with my palm facing up the pain is on the inside (left) and about an inch towards my bicep from whatever bone is sticking out of the inside. Any idea what could cause this? It's only doing dips, not benching or other exercises. I doubt it could be form, is there any way to mess up a dip? And it's only on one arm. It started a little over a week ago, so I just took the day off then the next day it was fine for my whole workout. Another time it started during my first set but was gone during the 2nd. It's been more than 3 days since I last did them and I started feeling it again around rep 8-10. Suggestions? |

![]() I dunno, dips hurt elbows sometimes. I get the same pain in my left elbow from dips sometimes. I think you are dipping too often.
