#6 was depressing.

I knew I didn't know #7i - Basel was one of those things I decided not to memorize (paid off as I think I got at least 6 out of 7 for the copula question). I hope I can scrape something out of the other 28 points in question 7; egads - 32 points for that one question

When there is neither upper nor lower tail dependance and we have a Kendall tau value to use to parametrize it (although it is complicated).

Should the CAS be trying to use the UK exams as its only path to CERA?

A question about Basel I parameters?? Talk about euro-centric.

I believe the idea is for the CAS to have their own eventually. However, from what I understand, the CAS does not currently have an exam that would be acceptable to the Global CERA organization, and decided to allow its members to use the UK exam for now. From the few discussions I have had with the CAS volunteers involved in these decisions, I believe they wish to have a few sittings of using the UK exam and then have people who have gone through the process help write a more US-centric one.

Anyway, something like Solvency II is coming here eventually, whether we like it or not, I'm afraid.
