Best track for self-employement down the line?
I need to pick a track. I'm planning to sit for my first FSA exam in the fall.
I've worked in Life for 4 years so obviously the Life track would be (by far) the easiest.
My company doesn't care what I pick. All the advice I have gotten has been that it doesn't really matter, and I should go for the easiest option.
I am leaning towards taking that advice. My only concern is that I'd be limiting my future employment options. I fell into Life right after college; I love my job but it's not something I consciously picked.
In an ideal world, I would be self-employed in some kind of consulting capacity in 10 years.
Is there one track that would be more useful than others in pursuit of this? My initial guess is that the Investments track could potentially be more useful.
Thoughts?
