Well, he's not gonna pop 20 homeruns -this- season (eventually yes). He does have 40 SB speed though. Michael Bourn is probably his 2012 upside.

I only saw highlights.

That throw from LF was sick. Too bad the catcher dropped it. Absolute laser and in the perfect spot.

1-3 with a sac fly? Not a bad debut. Put the ball in play all four times. He smoked that double, which was actually a ball that he shouldn't have swung at, but he handled it.

Note : Bryce, please don't act like a jag and knock your helmet off on purpose with every extra base hit. That was ridiculous.

WRT your note, I hope anyone who feels similarly will recall that Willie Mays purposely wore a hat a size too small for his head so that it would fall off as he ran the bases.

I'm not saying that Harper shouldn't produce at the ML level before getting to be too much of a hot dog, just that there is room for showmanship in the game, as the old schoolers knew.

Don't the Angels have a shaky track record over the last few years with successfully tending to phenoms when called up? With their OF logjam, will Trout really be a different story?

GG odd. A few cats went back and forth but my trio of suck that was Ross, Johnson & Latos managed to give back all of my big leads in ERA & WHIP and then some. Balfour did his best to hand them back but when Francisco failed to get a clean inning the 7-3 beat down of the Trippers was complete. GL going forward.

fortune has been smiling on me quite a bit so far, didn't see any way back in the ratio categories, but I got those and just enough HRs to take all the batting categories in the last couple of days.

gl to you too.

Among my 3 closers last week, the lowest ERA was 22.50!
