Currently we have an exciting career opportunity for an Experienced Retirement Actuarial Associate with Aon in our Columbus, OH office.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain some and developing other relationships with higher-level client contacts
- Answer many client questions without reliance on lead actuary
- Manage various projects simultaneously, with some oversight
- Complete significant amount of work through others (i.e. delegation)
- Play active role in client meetings
- Work collaboratively with consultants from other lines of business
- Prepare contribution requirement and accounting costs, with little or no guidance
- Review and interpret valuation results and explain outcomes to client
- Review pension benefit calculations
- Take on significant responsibility and use own initiative to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time
- Coach/train less experienced students


MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of actuarial work experience, retirement actuarial experience preferred.


MINIMUM EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree or aptitude in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics or Statistics
