Probably not much, since they didn't give you the closed claim information (so I'm guessing you did it incorrectly).

I'm not too familiar with MQC status. The pass mark is objective and point-based, right? They don't determine MQC vs. how you answered what types of questions or how many questions you left blank, etc. Correct? It's just did you get >= passmark points in total?

edit: I guess what I meant was... it's not like "oh, he almost got the pass mark but answered the most difficult questions correctly, so that should be considered"

"Pass Mark" (as a raw point value) <==> "MQC Threshhold"

And I do not believe that there is a review of individual student's exams in their entirety.

Maybe if a grader feels sorry for you because you used a more time consuming method than technique #1 where you develop ultimate claim counts and ultimate average severities?

I used the additive approach as well. Don't remember my answer, though. On the bright side, the exam will be posted soon. So if you remember your answer, you can always re-work the problem and see if you were right.

Looking at the exam, on 21a, I misread the given case o/s as "reported" and accidentally calculated IBNR as

expected ult-case o/s
instead of
expected ult-(paid + case o/s).

Part b obviously should have tipped me off, but is there any chance I get some partial credit?
