Should be 45 if they want to be reasonable... anything over is pretty cruel. In recent history, they've been VERY cruel.

I'm guessing the passmark will be at least 70%, so I'll throw out 47.

It was my first advanced exam so I have no idea how they give partial credit ... is it really hard to get some?

I gave myself 49-53.

i'm actually curious about this as well. how do the calculations problems go in terms of partial credit? deduct bulk of points at wrong answer or portion per each error?

e.g. if it's a 3 point calculation answer question and you misstep and then get the wrong answer, is that 1.5 immediately off or more like .5 off for each misstep?

They have a grading rubric that assigns point values for various parts that are expected to be shown.

So you gain points/lose points based on that rubric.
