Default Proposed Pension Legislation

Is anyone else aggrevated with the Pension Section of the Academy and their comments on proposed pension relief?

The Senate version that passed was very simple and straightforward, and now the Academy wants to mess that all up and make things much more complicated than they already are.

We all love to complain that regulations and such make the job such a mess, but this time it would be on the actuaries themselves if Congress adopted some of the things thrown out there.

Note to the Academy, your efforts at improving communication are working because now I've seen several different emails all talking about these comments. Unfortunately, it just makes me more upset each time it comes across my screen.
