Sorry as it is just my wild thought. But honestly I think as for now I know nobody and everything is impossible.

I really want to try out a career/life in US. And I am totally staggered to find it getting ridiculously difficult.

It's never a bad idea to network. Talk to the people at your FAC about your interest and what you have to offer. Try to talk to people on Linked-in, or the AO , to see if anyone wants to meet with you. Even if they don't have a job to offer you, they'll think of you if one is opened up. If nothing else, you'd make some new friends.
