Sex is like math. Sometimes you get a practical result but that isn't why you do it.

Many people think sex is more than just a pleasant way to pass the time. Thus we don't do it randomly all the time, why rape is a special crime, why we don't encourage young children to participate. I don't know if it's also cause to suspend commodification, but it doesn't improve your argument to act like it ain't nothin.

If you are referring to prostitution, it should be legalized. After all, the difference between prostitution and "sex for free" is that the latter usually costs more.
