Last time I used this: Page Monitor

and was alerted within 6 seconds of the results being posted without having to hit refresh every time.

Sounds like a good plan, though I've never used Page Monitor or hit refresh many times. Back when I took exams you couldn't get on-line results.

The SOA is in the Chicago area, if that affects your time estimates. You could look at other exams or at MLC for Fall 2011 to get some info about past releases.

The brutal May 2008 MFE exam had 55 as a pass mark and 48% passed and 53% effective passed. Basically, the most brutal preliminary exam still had a high % passing.

Yes.... and I think these results will be awful. No way the passmark is over 17/30.

I believe the pass mark only dropped by one that exam. Which is why I don't believe there will that big of a drop for this sitting.

And according to the May 2008 MFE PAK, the average PAK score was 12.15/20 (61%) and the passmark ended up being 11/20 (55%).

The May 2012 MLC average PAK score was 14.6/30 (48.7%)..... you fill in the rest.

I would love for you to be right. I'm just trying to manage my expectations. We'll find out soon enough.
